I had money in an online poker site and took all 100,000. How I can get it back?
I had transferred to my account brokerage and then to my bank account america. The IRS made me pay 49,000 in taxes before he could withdraw any money. The next day I go to get money and they say that everything is being with held because it was gambling money! That's all I have to pay bills and my mortgage. Is there any way to recover?
States Not USA. If you obtained money through illegal gambling (ie, not a gambling site land regulated as Las Vegas, Biloxi, Atlantic City, etc) you have committted a crime, and banks are sorted to take advantage of all the funds and return to the government. There are several laws that deal with this, and have broken several of them, using just an online gambling site
